A sailing cruise through the naturalness of Cilento, passing through the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento Peninsula!
Cilento is a land rich in exceptional historical and archaeological evidence, green areas and coasts overlooking one of the cleanest seas in Italy; a coast that is still partly wild with golden beaches, coves and cliffs; characteristic villages nestled between hills and mountains; charming hamlets and a lush National Park, a true "nature sanctuary" and "living landscape" protected by UNESCO.
Among the most famous towns, there is certainly Acciaroli, a fishing village that in a few years has become a renowned seaside resort, boasting one of the cleanest seas in Italy. The church of the Annunziata (1187) and the remains of the Angevin tower dominate the small port behind which the historical center, small and welcoming, with its narrow streets, squares, shops, where you can still breathe the atmosphere of the ancient seaside village.
Close to Acciaroli there is Pioppi, another small pearl of the Cilento coast. The delightful village that rises along the beach in a small cove sheltered by the hills, is also known for being the cradle of the famous Mediterranean diet.
Land of ancient myths and great beauty, Palinuro as well is an important tourist center of the Cilento coast. Extraordinary panoramas, pristine waters, beautiful stretches of beaches, inlets, and sea caves (Grotta Azzurra) attract nature and seas' admirers and lovers. Scario is an evocative little port at the mouth of the Policastro Gulf while Maratea has the typical beauty of the small Mediterranean towns, with white houses and alleys that get lost in romantic squares.
